I know I've been MIA for about a month now, but I was traveling pretty much all of July for both work and play and haven't had a second to sit down and make some new content until now. How are all of ya?!
I have to admit, though, it does feel good to have a little technology detox. I was in Cuba for 12 days and, whether I liked it or not, I was going to have 0 internet unless I wanted to pay for it. While a little nervous about that setup, I ended up enjoying my time away from e-mails, Instagrams, direct messages, and social media and was instead able to fully focus on my time traveling around Cuba. After I came back, I slowly reintroduced social media into my life and here I am, refreshed and raring to go!
Speaking of refreshed, I do have some plans on making a new website on a different platform. If anyone has any recommendation, please let me know! I would love to at least start on the switch by the end of the summer :)
Anyways, upon my arrival back home in the States, I was given some beautiful pieces by Cuddy Studios. Fun and vibrant, this boutique brand has a retro vibe that can either be showcased on full blast, or dressed down for a more minute 60s/70s flair. All of their fabrics and patterns are original and hand-cut, and a ton of their pieces can easily be worn from day to night, work to happy hour - perfect for us city dwellers! Today I wore their Wesley Geometric Jaquard to run some errands around town with my sister. Paired with the comfiest Lively bralette ever, a pair of high-waisted, destressed denim shorts, and some platform espadrille sneakers by Steve Madden, I was able to create the perfect 'lazy Sunday' outfit that got quite a lot of compliments. Still, this flowy blouse can easily be dressed up for a more work appropriate look at the drop of a hat. Versatility is key in my closet, and this top is sure to be a staple.
As always, outfit details are linked at the bottom of the post.
Enjoy your Game of Thrones night! See you during the week with some more posts :)
